SMART START 2020
SABE'S SMART START PLAN!
Since our school facilities first closed on March 13, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have ensured the safety of students and staff was of utmost priority. They have also worked together to provide all students access to continuous learning while remaining safely at home.
As we look ahead, we have been planning to develop a strong foundation for continuous learning in 2020-2021 school year and to prepare for potential modified operations in the future.
A strong start for every student means:
There is a plan for every student, including extra time and support for students with the greatest unfinished learning from the prior year.
There is a plan for students to hear from teachers and for students to receive feedback and engagement on their work every week.
This page provides information, guidance, and resources to support early childhood providers, school systems, educators, and families accomplish these goals.
As of Monday, September 14, 2020, we are providing both an online learning program and at school learning program for our students in Kindergarten - 5th grades, while all of our 6th-8th grade students remain online, due to the NMPED guidelines.
